EXCITING VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY!
- Do you enjoy the outdoors and love the feeling of accomplishment?

Join us as we team up to build a KaBOOM! playground for the Northeast Family YMCA in Philadelphia, PA. We are seeking 100+ volunteers who do not have to be skilled, trained or have any special tools; they just have to be enthusiastic, energetic, a team player, willing to work, and have fun, fun, fun! (And be at least 18 years of age).
- We are also seeking 6-8 Build Captains to provide leadership on Tuesday, September 9th, so we will ask all captains to attend a 45-minute orientation on Saturday, September 6th. Join us as an individual or come with an entire team. We are looking for 100+ volunteers for this project, and everyone must be pre-registered. - If you do happen to have some skills, or just a whole lot of interest, we invite you to become a Build Captain to take on a leadership role on Tuesday, September 9th. Captains are asked to attend a 45-minute orientation on Prep Day, Saturday, September 6th. (We will also be preparing the playground site on Monday, September 8th, so Captains or other volunteers who want to help on the 8th are more than welcome.)

Truck delivery with materials for playground. Materials need to be sorted and organized.
Monday, September 8th, 2008 (8 a.m. – 3 p.m.)
Prep Day – cutting lumber/digging holes/assembling and organizing material.
Tuesday, September 9th, 2008 (7 a.m. – 3 p.m.)
Build day (rain or shine) for ball field and playground.
